  45.    I've been told that the # sign is a bad character for Internet
  46. Addresses.  I've got my JNOS Gateway set up so that if someone specifies
  47. me as an SMTP Gateway and they send a note to
  48. user@bbs.#area.state.country.cont or user%bbs.#area.state.country.cont (
  49. AX.25 BBS addressing ) it will go to a local AX.25 bbs for routing to
  50. the AX.25 world.
  51.    My question is... if the '#' sign is invalid in an internet address,
  52. is there an alternate character that could be used and put into the
  53. rewrite file so an IP user could address an item to an AX.25 user?

  99. Again i have seen some new wampes code on ucsd.edu the first a new version
  100. 930402  not a problem with that.. however a patch wampes-930402.patch01.Z
  101. any idears what exactly this fixes?
  102. Perhaps a word from the Authors? or is this too much to ask for!
  103. Still have not seen any sutable install docs for wampes, other than some
  104. very basic stuff.
  105. So whats new in the 930402 code other than port to 386BSD ?

  121. I have a question about seting up NNTP.  How do you get the NNTP server
  122. to expire older messages, so that they don't just building up on the
  123. hard drive?

  125. Also, are there any doc's available for NNTP yet.  I think I have figured
  126. out most of the setup, but it would be nice to have a complete set of
  127. documents.
